<description>Hi! My name is Gosia and I come from Poland. I very like reading your books. They are inspiration of my life.
When I'm reading your books I learn a lot of new things about destiny... love... and other important parts of our life. I don't speak English very well, so it was challenge for me to read chapters 'Witch of Portobello'.

<description>Athena's dilema is so close to our hearts ( those who have one ) that I cannot wait to see what next.

Just so it does not get overlooked - In third chapter a witch is 'defined' as soemone who pursues 'limitless pleasure'. Now all dualistic things/concepts/feelings are related; night cannot exist without the day, pleasure cannot exist without pain. A pursuit of limitless pleasure is bound to expose one to limitless pain too !!

In the increasingly material world so full of toys, (new ones keep on appearing everyday ) how many of us are after 'limitless plasure'. where does that put us, in which category, as per the 'definations' given in third chapter. Zesus !

Paulo, Sir any comments on my request to lead a world wide effort to introduce two periods of silence in all schools / colleges of all creeds &#38; culture. (deadly sin - wrath page for details )If u could do it, wonder how great a service would it be for this world, which u undoubtabely love, now .

		<description>Hi Paulo,
I came across your books last year through a dear friend who shared some of your books with me. I read through Alchemist, Eleven Minutes, The Devil and Ms Prym, By the River Piedra I sat and wept, The Zahir, Veronika decides to die and I guess you must have heard it alot of times but I'd say it anyway, "Great writings man!"

In the Valkyries which I am just starting, I am intriqued by the reference to your journey in magick and the wiccan way of life? I have often wondered how you get your inspiration and I deeply respect and feel blessed through reading your writings.

In some ways, the Alchemist is like my bible which I go back and read to re-inspire myself and to draw from the energies that flow through the universe into you and expressed through your inspired books.

Thank you for writing that book. Even though it may be work to you but to me, it is an inspiration and I draw strength and energy from your work - for that I am deeply grateful and appreciate you very much.

May the energy of the universe continue to flow in you and through you to bless us all and in return to flow back to nurture and bless you...

		<description>Hello,

I was introduced to your books by my mother, who happens to be one of your fans. It happened three years ago that she came to visit me in Florida. At that time she was reading El Demonio y La Señorita Prim. She has the entire collection of your books. The title called my attention and asked her to leave the book so I can read it, so she did. I loved it and most of my friend did too. Not only that I loved it but it also awoke a part in me that I had no knowledge of being in there. All of my school years a heated reading, it was boring for me. Now I rather read than watch tv , now I can say that I love it. I have read most of your books and I just finished La Buja de Portobello. Different style, but very interesting book. I feel that you Sir did it again. It is out of this world. Thank you so much for sharing your gift with the world and please continue to do so. Cannot wait for you next piece.
By the way my favorite book is The Zahir.

Sincerely,

Liz

<description>Most mothers can identify with Athena.
I was eighteen, still a virgin,, and yet the urge to have a child was very strong.
However, I waited nine years before I had my first child.
I needed to grow up a lot before becoming responsible for another life!
Nowadays there are a lot of emphasis on young women to wait and make the most of their life before having children.
Some will and some won't. There are no rigid rules when it comes to accept life and love! And there shouldn't be any.
We are not automaton and every single one of us must make the choices that she feels is right for her.
A child is always coming at the right time if he/she is wanted and loved!

		<description>Paulo,
It is very hard to read one chapter at a time becasuse it want to immediatly go on to the next, but it is also good. Where I would have gone on to see what happens next I would not have taken the time read the chapter again and again and savor each word. Poor Athena wants to be a saint. There can be no good outcome for her. Think of James Jones. Many who feel they are a vessel of God start out with good intentions and misuse the power with pride. Your writing seems to bring words to issues I wrestle with deep in my soul.
Thank you,
Ione</description>

<description>sounds like he start of another excellent bok. I love the way we start off with the philosophising and fairly clinical observations of Athena and then before we know it we have slipped into more intimate and detailed recollections and .....the story has us involved before we know it. Love your work Paulo, it always challenges me to look at life from a different perspective - a more familiar one, yet so easily forgotten in my western world today. thanks from sharing from your vast experiences and in such an entetaining and relatable way
