Its wonderful!! Without specifying a particular way one choose for communion with oneslef, you juxtaposed they way Athena spread--Dance to see the light of vertex, that she learnt from her house-owner and how in stillness the Director General felt the experience. Your greatness lies in putting suggestion leaving the readers the inference. Nice and fluid.

Dear Paulo Coelho,

This chapter touched me in a personal way. I’ve been avoiding this stillness you write about for a very long time. At first I thought it was my job, so I complained so much to my friends and family that I got tired of listening myself talk about my problem. Then, I thought instead of complaining I can do something about it. That’s when I read your book, the Alchemist, and became inspired to follow my dreams. One of them was to live in a warm place that was close to the beach. So, I did everything possible to make that dream come true. That’s when I took my first journey from creating a dream to bringing it into reality. So I moved to another state and found a new job. The novelty of a new city and work made the time go by fast. After a year though, I once again started to complain that I didn’t like my job. The funny thing was that since my boss travels a lot, I don’t have much to do. But I felt this struggle to get up to go to “work”. Then, I realized, it’s that nothingness and stillness that I don’t want to face, that I am struggling with. Once I accepted it, I started to hear the answers to my questions. Where my true passion lies, how I want to live my life, and what is important to me. Now I am setting foot on the path that’s guided by my soul. I found confirmation to my experience through your words. Thank you.

You are talking about love, as a solution for everything. Well but what means love? There are thousands of meanings for this word and no one is exactly the same, and nobody has the same perception for that word. Even more, as a literate you probably know something about the corruption of the language and this could give you a clue about why we cannot use words which do not mean nothing. Words similar to freedom, democracy, justice, and so on... which use so frequently politicians, priests and cardinals in red silk dresses, and other similar...
In any case, if love means nothing serious is something which cannot be explained or written... love, in addition, needs some other previous complementary "words" to provide some precisions, if that is possible. But, i.e., how could to even pronounce this word "love" before clarifying how can be reached without justice, freedom and mutual respect?
Think about how aborigens, or native americans where perciving "love" from the "christianisers" (bible in opne hand and rifle or sword in the other)... they probably were linking "love" with massive killings, violations, spoilation and slavery... which are the kind of "love" that the Christians and close monotheists of any sort, aside with the Inquisition, have been spreading through the whole world. In this way, your love means, I am certain, to burn alive your "brothers"?
This is "love" seen in a practical way: no doubt of any kind, no fake words, no lies... "love" is that: Christians spread this vision of God and love... and are still doing the same in different forms. At this point, you can see the corruption of the language: love is really percived as hatred and death: God Mammon and Moloch are your gift to the world. Thanks!

Thank you Paulo. Your words always inspire me. I know you have an ear to God. I have been praying for God to speak to me. I hear him in your books.

A good example of how corroded management-cliche's make place for new, unconventional methods. It is obvious that people are happier if they can express themselves. Happy people perform better than unhappy people. And hapiness is what we are all looking for, each in his own way. Treat others the way you want to be treated.

Regards to everyone

When I read your books it’s like going through rebirth and finding new ways of finding my self .
Like I have opened my eyes for the first time. Looking at objects and feeling them with a difference.
I don’t know if you have felt this earlier, but there will be some emptiness within us which we just can’t explain. Like something is gone missing, and we can’t locate it either.
I am come from a financial sound background, parents are god loving and we have been given all that is there in terms of love, care, help, education and money. Still I am struggling to find myself. Reading your books helps me on that journey. As we have been thought money is not the answer to all our needs.
I feel like I have lost my way somewhere, like I don’t belong here, reading your books make me go back to the person that I am and help heal these feelings.
But I want to go further in this journey and find the ultimate happiness or should I say satisfaction.

Thank you for the Words Mr. Coelho

Paulo,
You have a way of breaking down what we all truely want in our hearts, connection. I think on the most base level we are all the same in that we want connection. With each other, with ourselves, with God, with the light, with our destiny. No matter what, we all want to plug in and feel whole and fulfilled. You capture this so brilliantly I'm always amazed at the way your words evoke feelings. I don't know if you've ever read "The Ragpicker" by Og Mandino, but there is a part where'the ragpicker' tells Og that he feels like certain authors speak for God and put words to page on his behalf, writers like K.Gibran. I have to say I feel this way about your writing as well. Thanks for this opportunity to preview your new book, for lack of more eloquent words it's wonderful.
love,
Lani
